(WHTM) – Harrisburg Mayor Wanda R.D. Williams this week endorsed Blake Lynch in the Democratic primary for Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District.

Lynch, who previously served as Director of Community Relations with the Harrisburg Bureau of Police, is one of seven Democrats who have filed to run in April’s primary.

“As a lifelong resident of the City of Harrisburg, fierce advocate for its people, and someone who has dedicated their life to fighting for equal rights and representation throughout this region, I know the incredible potential that lies within our diverse and vibrant community,” said Williams. “That is why I am proud to voice my support and endorsement, in the strongest possible way, for my good friend Blake Lynch to be our next representative in Congress.”
